Hi there! Are you a JavaScript pro with a knack for solving problems and writing clean, modern code? We’re looking for a skilled JavaScript Developer to work on an exciting project-based role, where you’ll replace jQuery with vanilla JavaScript and make some awesome improvements to a WordPress plugin.

What You’ll Do:

Refactor existing scripts to replace jQuery with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Ensure the updated scripts are fully compatible with WordPress.
Add or enhance features, potentially using React.js.
Test, debug, and optimize scripts for performance and browser compatibility.
Collaborate to bring new ideas to life!

What We’re Looking For:

JavaScript wizardry: You know vanilla JS inside and out, and you’re comfortable transitioning code from jQuery.
React skills: Experience with React.js is a big plus.
Familiarity with TypeScript (bonus points!).
Understanding of WordPress: You don’t need to be an expert, but you should know how scripts interact with WordPress.
Great at debugging: Your code works, and you know how to fix it when it doesn’t!

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with WordPress plugins or themes.
Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
Comfortable using tools like Webpack, Vite, or other build systems.
Version control expertise with Git.
