We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application GUI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GUI development using Python and expertise in 3D image rendering techniques.

The primary responsibilities will include developing intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for our applications and implementing advanced 3D rendering functionalities. This role requires proficiency in various Python libraries and frameworks such as WxPython, PySide, PyQT, Kivy, PyGUI, and Tkinter.

The candidate should also possess knowledge and experience in 3D medical image rendering, utilizing tools such as Vtk, Pydicom, Nibabel, Dicom2nifti, SimpleITK, Numpy-stl, MedPy, and MONAI. The position is available for part-time, project-based, or full-time work.

Responsibilities:

Develop and design user-friendly and visually appealing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for our applications using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive GUI designs.
Implement 3D image rendering functionalities to display and manipulate medical images.
To create interactive GUI components, utilize Python libraries and frameworks, such as WxPython, PySide, PyQT, Kivy, PyGUI, and Tkinter.
Apply 3D medical image rendering techniques using Vtk, Pydicom, Nibabel, Dicom2nifti, SimpleITK, Numpy-stl, MedPy, and MONAI.
Conduct independent research to identify and incorporate the latest advancements in GUI development and 3D image rendering.
Troubleshoot and debug GUI-related issues, optimizing performance and usability.
Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of GUIs with the overall application architecture.
Document and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for future reference.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in GUI development, mainly using Python.
Proficiency in at least one of the following Python libraries and frameworks: WxPython, PySide, PyQT, Kivy, PyGUI, and Tkinter.
Strong understanding of 3D image rendering techniques and algorithms.
Experience working with 3D medical image rendering tools and libraries like Vtk, Pydicom, Nibabel, Dicom2nifti, SimpleITK, Numpy-stl, MedPy, and MONAI.
Ability to work independently and conduct research to solve technical challenges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
