Senior AI-first Software Engineer

Location: 100% Remote · Level: Senior (6+ years) · Stack: C# · React · AI: Claude

About the role

We're an AI-first engineering company, and we mean it literally: AI writes the code, from 0 to 100 — we don't hand-type implementations. What we hire for is the human on top of that: the person who decides what gets built, directs the AI that builds it, and owns whether it's good enough to ship.

This is a hybrid Product + Technical role. We hand you a product idea and you own it end-to-end — shape the PRD with the product owner, drive the build through Claude (building whatever skills, agents, and prompt workflows the feature needs), and deliver a complete feature with code, docs, and tests, ready for the tech lead to deploy. You operate like a product manager and a senior engineer at once. You won't be a code monkey — you'll be the conductor.

How the work flows

Shape the idea with the product owner and turn it into a clear, buildable PRD.
Drive the build through Claude — orchestrate it, and build any tooling the feature needs along the way.
Review, validate, and shape every output. You are the quality bar.
Deliver a complete feature — working code, docs, and tests, ready to deploy.

What you'll do

Own features end-to-end, from concept and PRD to a tested, documented, shippable result.
Make the product calls (trade-offs, scope, "done") and the technical calls for your feature; bring system-wide decisions to the tech lead.
Orchestrate Claude as your build method through strong prompting, spec design, and steering.
Build the skills, agents, and prompt workflows a feature needs rather than waiting for them to exist.
Own quality, documentation, and tests so the tech lead can deploy with confidence.

What we're looking for

5+ years of full-stack software engineering, including hands-on product development — you've owned features end-to-end, not just implemented tickets.
Strong full-stack ability across C# and React, with confidence on both ends.
Excellent technical judgment — you can read AI-generated code and instantly sense whether it's right.
Real product sense — you can shape a PRD and make the calls a PM would make.
AI-orchestration as a default workflow — and when a problem needs a new skill, agent, or workflow, you build it yourself.
Comfort with ambiguity and radical ownership — give you a raw idea and you'll find the path, build it, and own the result.

Nice to have

Next.js, hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, parallel agents), a startup background, formal product experience, and a track record of solo or small-team end-to-end ownership.
