شرح موقعیت شغلی

Sotoon is looking for a Data Center Technician to support the safe, reliable, and continuous operation of our mission-critical data center infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of electrical, cooling, mechanical, and facility monitoring systems. You will also play an active role in responding to incidents, identifying operational abnormalities, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

As part of the Data Center Operations team, you will work closely with engineering, network, IT, and hardware teams to help maintain infrastructure availability and ensure the stable operation of Sotoon’s data center environments.

Responsibility

  • Perform routine inspections and operational checks of data center facilities and critical infrastructure.
  • Monitor and operate electrical, cooling, HVAC, mechanical, and facility monitoring systems, including UPS systems, generators, and power distribution.
  • Identify alarms, equipment abnormalities, failures, and operational risks, and respond or escalate according to defined procedures.
  • Perform and support preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities, including basic troubleshooting.
  • Support installation, replacement, testing, and commissioning of data center equipment and infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, checklists, and incident documentation.
  • Follow safety requirements and operational procedures, and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors when required.
  • Participate in shift-based operations, on-call rotations, and emergency response to support continuous data center availability.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data centers, critical facilities, or similar operational environments.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, power distribution, and backup power systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, cooling, mechanical, and facility monitoring systems.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, operational procedures, and basic electrical or mechanical diagrams.
  • Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in shift-based and high-availability environments.
