Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to architect and maintain robust back-end services that power our applications. You'll play a crucial role in building scalable server-side solutions, optimizing database architecture, and ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. This position offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while mentoring team members and shaping our development practices.
Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using PHP and modern frameworks
● Architect and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP modules following best practices
● Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
● Design and optimize database schemas that effectively support business processes and scale requirements
● Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges
● Ensure security best practices across authentication, authorization, and data protection
● Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
● Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team

Technical Skills:
● 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
● 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
● Expert-level proficiency with Laravel framework and modern PHP
● Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
● Solid experience with RESTful API design and implementation
● Proficiency in both SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
● Deep knowledge of Docker for containerization and local development environments
● Expert understanding of Git and version control workflows
Security & Performance:
● Strong knowledge of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies

● Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization across distributed systems
● Proven ability to design and build scalable, high-performance applications
● Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization techniques

● Contributions to open-source projects
● Experience with API gateway patterns and service mesh architectures
