Over view:

Market research and international trend study are needed for setting high-level directions in the decision-making procedure in all business lines and departments; which can be done by a professional employee in this field. This will help the business define a proper strategic plan covering different areas.

Responsibilities:

· Market Research/Analysis

Begin by conducting comprehensive market research to gain insights into market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Analyze data and gather additional information to identify potential growth opportunities and understand the market dynamics.

· Establish Clear Goals and Objectives

Leveraging that research, define specific objectives and goals for business development efforts. Setting clear goals provides a focus for the business process.

· Generate and Qualify Leads

Use various sources, such as industry databases, networking, referrals, or online platforms to generate a pool of potential leads. Then, evaluate and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to determine their suitability and potential value.

· Build Relationships and Present Solutions

Initiate contact with qualified leads and establish relationships through effective communication and engagement. Demonstrate the value proposition of the organization's offerings and highlight key benefits and competitive advantages.

· Negotiate and Expand

Prepare and deliver proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing, deliverables, and timelines. Upon agreement, coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure a smooth execution process.

· Continuous Evaluation

Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts. Analyze performance metrics, gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

· Research skills

Business development specialists should be able to conduct research with an understanding of business processes

· Understanding of Current Industry Trends

A business development specialist should be well-versed in the current and new industry trends, technology, and respective areas.

· Project Management

business development specialists have project management skills, and are expected to be experts at using Microsoft projects.

· Strategy Knowledge

Must have the ability to streamline the business processes which are vital for improving business success. This requires close collaboration with teams and a deep understanding of the Processes.

· Business Management

Knowledge in areas such as Business planning and P&L, feasibility study, and finance is also key to mastering the role.

· Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

A demonstrated understanding of business and proposal development processes is crucial, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse activities and meet deadlines.
