We’re seeking a passionate People Data Analyst to join our team! In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our HR data operations, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Cleaning:
Gather data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
Clean and prepare datasets by removing duplicates, handling missing values, and ensuring data quality.
Data Analysis:
Perform basic statistical analysis and generate insights to support business decisions.
Use tools like Excel, SQL, or Python to analyze data, identify trends, and detect patterns.
Support senior analysts in more complex analyses.
Reporting and Visualization:
Create simple reports and dashboards to present data findings.
Use data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate insights effectively.
Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with senior data analysts, data scientists, and other team members to understand project requirements.
Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
Documentation:
Maintain documentation for data processes, analyses, and findings.
Ensure all work is well-documented for future reference and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Excel: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and charts.
SQL: Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases.
Programming: Familiarity with a programming language like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Data Visualization: Basic knowledge of tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for creating visualizations.
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
Basic understanding of statistics and probability.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to approach problems methodically and think critically about data.
Eagerness to learn and apply new techniques to solve data-related problems.
Communication Skills:
Ability to explain technical concepts and data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Business Administration is typically required.
Relevant certifications or coursework in data analysis, SQL, or data visualization is a plus.
