We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Planning:
-Provide financial targets for the business and set P&L targets.
-Monitor P&L performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
-Develop business plans for new initiatives and monitor their execution.
Metrics Analysis:
-Define and analyze the main metrics of the business to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
-Develop reports and presentations to communicate key metrics and insights to management.
Reporting:
-Provide management reports on a regular basis to communicate performance against targets and objectives.
-Prepare weekly business review reports highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action items.
Data Analysis:
-Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
-Develop reports to present findings to key stakeholders.
-Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements Gathering:
-Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
-Elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
-Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Project Management:
-Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
-Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
-Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Documentation:
-Document business processes and projects to ensure clarity and consistency.
-Maintain comprehensive documentation of project requirements, decisions, and outcomes.
Skills:
Software Familiarity:
-Proficiency in Power BI or other visualization software is required.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations is essential.
-Familiarity with programming languages such as Python/R is preferred.
Business Acumen:
-Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as business planning, P&L analysis, finance, and marketing.
-Utilize business acumen to drive insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Defining Stories:
-Develop detailed business cases and feasibility studies.
-Analyze and synthesize business requirements, recognize patterns, conceptualize processes, and negotiate the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Planning & Organizing:
-Develop plans for the business unit considering factors such as costs, timing, customer needs, and available resources.
-Anticipate issues and revise plans as required.
-Provide resources and encouragement to remove barriers.
Communication:
-Conduct discussions and write memoranda to all levels of colleagues and peer groups in a manner that supports troubleshooting and problem-solving.
-Handle conflicts empathetically.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, statistics, Management, or other related fields.
-MBA is a plus
-Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
