We are seeking an experienced and dynamic logistics to lead and manage our Delivery operation. Key responsibilities include developing and executing logistics plans, supervising staff and monitoring transportation to optimize costs and efficiency. The supervisor must also analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement and implement technology solutions to streamline logistics activities. Strong project management, data analysis skills, and experience with logistics software are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate has significant experience in logistics management, particularly in B2B operations, along with a relevant educational background. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations and fostering customer satisfaction through effective logistics management.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
· Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to enhance shipping and receiving processes.
· Lead and oversee the performance of drivers and other logistics personnel.
· Schedule work shifts, allocate tasks, and ensure that team members meet their performance targets.
· Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and business partners to ensure high levels of service quality.
· Address customer issues, provide resolutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Analyze logistics workflows to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
· Implement new technologies and best practices to optimize the logistics network.
· Coordinate and oversee transportation logistics, ensuring routes are optimized for cost-efficiency.
· Provide training to the logistics team on safety measures and company policies.
· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce reports on operational efficiency and delivery performance.
· Use data insights to support decision-making and improve logistics processes.
Qualifications:
FMCG background.
Proven work experience in Logistics and FMCG transportation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to analyze key performance indicators.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A solid understanding of Transportation and supply chain, techniques, and best practices is crucial for success in this role.
