Overview:

The Operations Specialist is responsible for evaluating the performance of stores operating on the app to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase their loyalty. This role includes monitoring vendor activities, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring the correct processing of orders across all shifts, including the night shift.

Responsibilities:

Store Performance Review: Conducting thorough assessments of active stores' performance, providing performance reports, and training managers for continuous improvement.
Field Visits: Conducting detailed inspections of store performance, providing reports, and offering training to managers for ongoing enhancement.
Vendor Supervision & Support (Night Shift): Maintaining direct communication with chain store managers and regional supervisors to address potential issues, overseeing vendor activities during night hours, ensuring service standards, resolving real-time problems, and preventing possible disruptions.
Issue Identification & Resolution: Investigating vendor challenges, referring them to relevant teams, monitoring order processes and store performance in real-time, and taking necessary corrective actions.
Direct Communication with Store Managers: Engaging in daily communication with regional supervisors and chain store managers to facilitate requests and resolve issues.
Reporting: Preparing periodic reports and presenting them to business partners and relevant managers.
Problem Solving: Identifying real-time issues and making decisions to manage and resolve them effectively.
Service Quality Assurance (Night Shift): Overseeing order processing and maintaining service standards during night shifts while taking immediate action in case of issues.
Shift Work: Periodically handling shifts on holidays, generating regular performance reports of stores, and documenting key issues during each shift to ensure smooth information transfer between shifts.

Skills & Requirements:

Overtime Availability: Willingness to work shifts remotely if needed.
Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with internal teams and business partners.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and analyze issues and refer them to the relevant teams.
Teamwork Skills: Ability to collaborate with different team members as part of a team.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Passion: Enthusiasm for the online grocery industry.
Flexibility: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage crises while working in rotating shifts, including night shifts.
Independence & Adaptability (Night Shift): Capability to work independently during night hours and ensure vendors perform efficiently.
Supervision & Analytical Skills: Ability to monitor vendor performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement appropriate solutions.
