Position Overview: The Logistic Senior Specialist role at Snapp Market Pro is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain and logistics functions. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for optimizing logistics processes, improving transportation methods, and reducing costs, all while maintaining the highest level of service quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. - Oversee and manage logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure seamless product availability. - Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and vendors to ensure high service levels and competitive rates. - Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary. - Lead and participate in logistics projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and new service offerings. - Stay informed of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management, recommending initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and procedures related to logistics and shipping.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role. - Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Proven ability to lead and manage projects, teams, and external partners. - Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
