Position Overview:
SnappMarket Pro is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. This vital role is responsible for managing the company's payroll system, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with all legal and regulatory payroll requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processes, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and review payroll for all employees on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including but not limited to hours worked, tax deductions, and employee information changes.
- Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours worked.
- Prepare and issue employee statements of earnings and deductions, answering any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate payroll processing, including benefits, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Calculate and deposit payroll taxes, and prepare reports for management and external entities as required.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and best practices, recommending changes to payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in payroll processing, with a thorough understanding of payroll best practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software, with strong IT skills to adapt to new technologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discretely and professionally.
- A proactive team player, committed to contributing to the company’s overall success.
