Job Brief

As a BI Developer, in the BI-Data team, you will enjoy diving deep into data, analyzing large data sets, discovering root causes for major problems, and designing long-term solutions.
The role is highly impact-full and autonomous with goals that directly influence users’ experience and the bottom line of the business.
The ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to details.
Design and develop metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business and product decisions. Conduct deep-diving data analysis for business insights and recommendations.
In this position, we looking for whom has deep knowledge about Cube Designs Patterns and has experience in SSAS. In addition, the ability to make complex measures by using DAX is a very important point for us. When we are in an online business our cube should process Data in a matter of seconds, therefor candidates should have applicable knowledge about tuning, different types of processes, and partitions on the OLAP database.


Responsibilities:


  • Translate business needs to technical specifications.
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. Power BI or Tableau).
  • Developing Tabular Cubes by SSAS.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.


Requirements and skills:


  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst.
  • Startup experience is preferred
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining is plus.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, and online analytical processing (OLAP) via SSAS (Tabular).
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Grafana is a plus).
  • Knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
