Responsibilities
Designing, defining, and implementing the communications plan, working with key stakeholders across the business to develop initiatives, create content and execute events and tactics that engage, connect and educate across the organization. Own volume management of the activity, planning with our audience in mind.
Managing and delivering internal communications to ensure employees are informed of organizational news, announcements, and activity across multiple channels and tools (including intranet, newsletter, meetings, and events).
Planning, editing, designing, and writing content for a variety of internal communications mediums
Working with the facilities team to create and organize small to large employee events
Partnering with key stakeholders to provide internal communications support for projects and campaigns across the organization, developing communications plans, advising on implementation, and developing conten
Ensuring communications and activities deliver clear, consistent messaging across all channels aligning to our branding and promoting our vision, mission, and values
Actively contributing to the internal communications, engagement, and wider HR strategy
Seeking and responding to employee feedback, adjusting communications accordingly, and sharing relevant insights
Constantly exploring innovation, identifying new ways of creating content, delivering messaging and interacting with key audience groups establishing best practices and an exceptional experience
Requirements
2 years experience in similar position
Experience in internal communications and employee engagement
Literacy with social media tools and different styles of content
Excellent copywriting skills and ability to write delicious text on any topics
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Analytical skills and ability to design and analyze surveys
A calm and logical approach – comfortable communicating with all levels and able to instill confidence
Comfortable working with discretion, dealing with sensitive, complex, and confidential situations
The ability to work proactively and manage a diverse workload delivering high-quality outputs within challenging timescales
Be able to bring new ideas to the table, hold a firm opinion, but also accept a valid alternative
The ability to propose new solutions quickly when a situation changes
