شرح موقعیت شغلی

The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production planning, ensuring the efficient and timely execution of manufacturing processes. This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, developing production schedules, optimizing resources, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve production goals. The Production Planning Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining an optimal balance between customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and updating Bill of Materials(BOM)
Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Analyze data and use forecasting techniques and safety stock methods to predict material needs accurately . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and customer demands.
Time measurement of production stations based on MTM(Methods Time Measurement)
Prepare MPS (Master Production Schedule) for the integration of production planning in ERP System.
ERP System Utilization and Optimization
Material Shelf-Life Control
Raw Material Wast Control
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-progress to optimize inventory turnover and minimize inventory costs and waste costs.Analyze the information on the manufactured products in order to establish and maintain the inventory control system and optimal storage.
Resource Planning: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure the availability of resources such as raw materials, labor, and machinery to meet production requirements.
Scheduling work shifts.
Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, taking into account production capacity, equipment availability, and material availability.
Cooperate in designing, creating, and carrying out the necessary follow-ups to compile the master processes and tables of the planning unit.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze production data and processes., including production output, cycle times, and adherence to schedules, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Analyze data related to material usage, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Generate reports and provide insights to management regarding material availability, inventory trends, and potential risks. Propose and implement improvement initiatives based on data analysis . Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and stakeholders.
Effective communication and cooperation with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

Master degree in Industrial Engineering and supply chain management. Relevant certifications or professional qualifications are a plus.
Proven experience in production planning or related roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
In-depth knowledge of production planning principles, techniques, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in using production planning software(MSP,Minitab,Lingo,BI), ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
