شرح موقعیت شغلی

you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance and patching of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for our Microsoft Windows & UNIX based platform. This person participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. The System Administrator ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures comply with internal and external standards and security requirements.

Job Description:
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• profound knowledge in virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Support daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted parties.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Participate in on-call escalation rotations for 24x7 support; evening, overnight, and weekend, holiday and on-call work may be required.

Requirements:
• Over 3 years’ experience as technical expert in service administration role.
• Familiarity with a majority of the following:
- Microsoft Windows Server Datacenter 2019
- Microsoft Windows Server Datacenter 2022
• Deep knowledge and experience in Exchange Server
• Deep Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, GPO management, Certificate Services, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, Remote Access, WSUS, WDS, failover clustering, IIS, PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with server virtualization technologies and NAS/storage concepts (LUNs, HBAs, logical volumes, NFS, iSCSI, etc.
• Designing High-Reliability/High-Availability systems and experience on cluster setup and troubleshooting
