This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on while guiding a small team, bringing clarity to technical decisions. You’ll play a key role in stabilizing and evolving one of the most important parts of our product.

If you’re a strong developer who enjoys solving real-world problems and is comfortable working with both traditional backend systems and modern AI/data-driven components, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining web applications using the Python/Django framework
  • Proficient in designing and building APIs using GraphQL or Django Rest Framework
  • Experience with data modeling and processing (e.g., designing schemas, implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, working with structured/unstructured data)
  • Solid understanding of AI integration patterns and familiarity with how AI tools and APIs can be applied in backend workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and ship scalable and maintainable backend systems
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially when working with external APIs, data pipelines, or background processes
  • Experience integrating Celery or other queuing systems with Django (or similar frameworks) for asynchronous task execution
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ or Redis
  • Proficiency in using Docker for local development and deployment environments
  • Strong grasp of unit testing, test coverage, and code quality principles
  • Comfort with Linux-based systems and CLI tools
  • Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience collaborating with data engineers or working with data platforms
  • Experience mentoring or managing a team of developers, even in small teams (2–3 members)
  • Exposure to DevOps (Docker Swarm, CI/CD pipelines)

Work Schedule:

  • Location: Tehran - West (Tarasht)
  • Days: Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 20:30 (Non-negotiable)
  • Remote Option: Yes - one day per week (The week day isn’t fixed)
