Position Overview

The Financial Data Analyst at Hermes Capital is a linchpin within our quant team, entrusted with the mission-critical task of mining through extensive financial data to unearth opportunities for arbitrage within the cryptocurrency sector. This role demands a blend of analytical prowess and technical fluency, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the intricacies of the Iranian financial market.

At Hermes Capital you will:

Conduct thorough examinations of market dynamics, anticipating shifts that signal profitable trades.
Employ advanced data management practices to curate and interpret vast datasets, transforming them into actionable intelligence.
Collaborate closely with our team of quants and developers to craft algorithms that capitalize on arbitrage opportunities swiftly and efficiently.
Present findings in a clear, concise manner using high-caliber visualization tools, aiding decision-making processes across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management:
- Manage the influx of real-time data, maintaining immediate access to current market intel.
- Architect and sustain extensive databases geared towards comprehensive historical data analysis and strategic planning.
Market Analysis:
- Continuous Monitoring of price discrepancies across various platforms, to identify and exploit arbitrage opportunities in real-time.
- Performing in-depth market trend analysis to forecast potential price inefficiencies.
- Assessing liquidity conditions to ensure trade execution is both strategic and efficient, maintaining market stability.
Reporting and Communication:
- Construct comprehensive reports, employing tools like Plotly for dynamic and engaging visual data representations.
Statistical Analysis & Modeling (Recommended):
- Design statistical models aimed at arbitrage opportunity detection, when necessary.
- Craft risk assessment models to quantify and manage trade-associated financial risks.

Technical Expertise

Programming and Data Science: Proficiency in Python, and managing large datasets, including data cleaning, normalization, and handling missing or unstructured data. Adept in generating visually compelling data visualizations, particularly with Plotly.
Statistical Analysis and Modeling: Proficient in applying statistical methods like time-series analysis, regression models, and stochastic calculus for arbitrage opportunity detection and risk assessment. Ability to Design and implement models for forecasting and predictive analytics in the financial market.
Econometrics and Time Series Analysis: Expertise in econometric models for financial time series data analysis. Ability to apply techniques like cointegration, GARCH models, and ARIMA models in market trend analysis to forecast potential price inefficiencies.
Machine Learning: Familiarity with machine learning techniques, including their application in financial markets for arbitrage and risk modeling.
Algorithmic Trading and Strategy Development (*): Familiarity with developing, Testing, and deploying algorithmic trading strategies as well as knowledgeability in high-frequency trading algorithms, market-making strategies, and statistical arbitrage is considered a plus.

شرکت دانش بنیان هرمس کپیتال که از سال ۱۳۹۷ فعالیت خود را با نام شرکت سرمایه گستر هرمس(سهامی خاص)، در زمینه‌ی معاملات الگوریتمی در بازارهای مالی (بدهی و سهام) آغاز نمود.
