Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our product team in overseeing the technical aspects of our connected vehicle telematics device. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for auditing electronic design, firmware development, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing requirements, guiding the development process, and delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical audit and guidance to the hardware and firmware teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Analyze and review hardware and firmware requirements to ensure alignment with product objectives and customer needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications, design architecture, and implement solutions.
Conduct thorough analysis and testing of electronic components, circuits, and firmware to ensure reliability and performance.
Lead efforts to obtain relevant certifications and standards compliance for automotive electronics, including EMI, EMC, ESD, and OEM requirements.
Support product manufacturing and production processes, including design for manufacturability and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in connected vehicle systems and electronics design.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics design and firmware development, preferably in the automotive or IoT industry.
Strong understanding of hardware design principles, embedded systems, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, UART).
Proficiency in CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
Experience with microcontroller programming in C/C++ and familiarity with RTOS concepts.
Knowledge of automotive standards and certifications, such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and OEM specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
