The purpose of this position is to sell products & services to business and industrial establishments or individuals at the sales office, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customer's needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
Responsible for building a customer base for repeat business in the sales territory, building long-term relationships with them, and securing orders.
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Keeps architects updated on products and get specified for bidding.
Works with inside personnel and management to negotiate and secure orders with accounts, follow up on estimates, etc.

Responsible for submitting sales plans along with individual customer projections and strategies
Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
Must research and be aware of competitive market conditions in the territory and the country overall
Quoting projects for customers and coordinating quotes with the estimating department; taking off materials from architectural drawings and proceeding with estimating.
Ability to visit the job site and understand the installation of products, and help resolve problems with the field technician
Assists in receiving payment or obtaining credit authorization
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas
Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
Continually build a product knowledge base and possess the ability to assist customers with purchasing decisions.
Must observe and check the pricing, stocking, inventory, receiving, marking, and bagging of merchandise.
Keeps current with trends in a constantly changing industry
Answer and monitor all calls, emails, pages, etc., promptly, courteously, and effectively.
Helping designers and architects source the materials they need.

Soliciting, properly documenting the Quote Log, and promptly responding to quote requests.
Handle returns of merchandise
Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in architecture or related fields and five or more years related experience and training in the glazing/construction industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
Fast learner and passion for sales
Experience in customer service and estimating also preferred
Be vigilant about safety.
Quality-conscious oriented to excellence.
Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office Suite, estimating
Strong presentation & communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in English
Certification in Marketing, Sales, or relevant field is a plus.
Solid knowledge of CRM software
