As a Junior Java Developer at Rasha, you'll have the opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment. Your role will encompass various aspects of backend software development, and your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the team to understand system requirements and contribute to the implementation of features.
Writing clean and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices, making our codebase easy to maintain.
Assisting in creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of our code.
Participating in coding tasks and gaining hands-on experience with Java and related technologies.
Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

You'll primarily focus on coding and gradually expand your responsibilities as you gain experience. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from your colleagues and be part of our ongoing software development efforts.

Key Qualifications:

A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and contribute to backend software projects.
A commitment to delivering high-quality code.
A curious and analytical mindset.
Good communication skills in English (nice to have).
A desire to learn from others and share knowledge.
A positive attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges.

Technical Expertise Required:

Beginner to intermediate level experience in backend software development.
An eagerness to write code that is clean, modular, and maintainable.
Some exposure to Java and a desire to develop your skills.
An interest in working in an agile environment.

Interview Process:

Behavioral and Personality Assessment (30 minutes): In this initial step, we'll have a conversation to understand your personality traits, values, and how you approach challenges. We want to ensure that you're a great fit for our team culture and values.
Home Assignment: After the behavioral assessment, we'll provide you with a home assignment. This task or project will assess your problem-solving abilities and your approach to real-world coding challenges. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity.
Technical Assessment (45 minutes): Once you've completed the home assignment, we'll have an in-depth technical assessment. This evaluation will focus on your technical knowledge, coding skills, and problem-solving approach. You'll have the chance to demonstrate your understanding of relevant technologies.
