We are seeking DevOps / SRE Engineer who will be responsible for managing our in-house infrastructure to ensure high levels of availability, security, and performance. Linux systems and Kubernetes proficiency, as well as a solid understanding of system architecture and networking, are required for the candidate. The job requires collaborating with other teams to improve our infrastructure and business operations.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure, including network, servers, and software applications.
Conduct systematic performance testing to ensure infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
Manage and maintain our Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
Protect company data by following ITIL guidelines for security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Analyze infrastructure regularly to identify potential issues and make proactive modifications as needed.
Collaborate with the IT team to coordinate and communicate infrastructure changes, maintenance, and other related activities.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and solutions, and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs with customers.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure our IT infrastructure remains current.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
Create and update documentation detailing our IT systems, operations, and architectural structure.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
background in Linux/Unix server administration
TCP/IP knowledge
Expertise with containers and container orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible or Puppet
Scripting Skills with at least one language (Bash, Python)
CI/CD implementation
Familiar with Key-Value and NoSQL solutions
Familiar with Relational Database solutions
Familiar with continuous monitoring using Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana ELK, EFK
Good Knowledge of Virtualization especially KVM
Good Knowledge of Git/GitFlow
Troubleshooting capabilities and an ability to quickly learn new technologies
Familiar with the ITIL framework.
Understanding of backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
