About the Role

 at bluBank, We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer with an interest in AI-powered products to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web, mobile, API-based, and AI-driven applications.

You will work closely with developers, product owners, data scientists, and AI engineers to validate both traditional software functionality and AI model behavior. The ideal candidate combines strong software testing fundamentals with an understanding of AI/ML concepts and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business, technical, and AI-related requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute manual and automated testing for web, mobile, API, and AI-powered applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and AI validation testing.
  • Validate AI-powered features such as chatbots, LLM-based systems, predictive models, OCR, document processing, and NLP-based functionalities.
  • Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, hallucination, bias, safety, and compliance with business requirements.
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and contribute to API test automation where applicable.
  • Validate AI behavior using predefined datasets, prompt scenarios, edge cases, and real-world user journeys.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and support issue resolution.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, story reviews, and release readiness activities.
  • Prepare detailed test reports, quality metrics, and AI evaluation documentation.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, test automation frameworks, and AI testing methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual test design, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and testing approaches for AI-powered products.
  • Experience testing AI-based features such as chatbots, LLM applications, OCR, NLP systems, document processing, or predictive models.
  • Ability to assess AI responses for correctness, relevance, consistency, hallucinations, bias, and user safety.
  • Familiarity with prompt testing, test datasets, edge-case validation, and AI output evaluation.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic database knowledge, including SQL queries and data validation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.
     
Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI testing and evaluation tools, including prompt testing platforms, LLM evaluation frameworks, model monitoring tools, or annotation platforms.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, FinTech products, AI-driven financial solutions, or highly regulated environments.
  • Experience building or maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to performance testing and test automation practices.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and risk considerations in enterprise or financial products.
