Toman Pay is engaged in a major transformation, in which we not only scale up but also work on implementing Tech Pipelines and a new Product-Tech structure. As a Scrum Master, you are committed to the teams and organization. You do this together with a team of driven and enthusiastic Product Managers, who together with you, ensure a unified way of thinking and working across the teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
As an experienced Scrum Master, you are the spider in the web that helps, motivates, and coaches colleagues to become even better in their profession. You promote and support the Scrum framework and the Way of Working and doing this by creating an inspiring, open, and nonjudgmental environment in which the agile mindset is propagated. You ensure that nothing stands in the way of the teams working efficiently and productively. In this way, you deliver added value for both teams. You are the sparring partner for Product Managers also Tech leads in Toman Pay.

The Ideal Candidate :


  • Does not only do Agile, but is Agile and coaches the Scrum team in the Agile practices, values, and principles.
  • A good listener and helps the team to reflect on their own work and behavior, asking the critical question that helps them improve what they do 
  • Know how to build a safe environment with an emphasis on collaboration and problem solving 
  • Help and coach Product Managers and Stakeholders to reflect on their collaboration with the scrum teams
  • Assess the maturity of the team and organization and coach to higher levels of maturity 
  • Facilitate and moderate Scrum events and other ad-hoc meetings for teams and stakeholders 
  • Cultivate self-organization and self-management ways of working in teams 
  • Detect and remove impediments and conflicts as fast as possible 
  • Coach and assist the Product Managers and teams in story writing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization of the backlog 
  • Effectively use metrics and data visualization to report progress and support data-driven decision-making at the team or program level. 
  • Help the teams and individuals clarify goals and actions to achieve them. 
  • Shield the team from outside distractions, context switching, and interference. 
  • Tracks and removes impediments 
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills. 
  • Know how to use Miro, Notion, and Monday as our main software 
  • Knowledge of Fintech 
  • Knowledge of the OKR framework is a big plus 
  • Help team to breakdown OKRs into backlog items and continuously coordinate on progress 
Requirements:
This is the kind of background we have in mind for the role: 


  • Experience with Agile technologies and tools- preferred Monday 
  • Experience with various agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc. 
  • Knowledge of best practices regarding development tools (Azure DevOps, wiki, SharePoint) and engineering processes around - building, testing, integration, and deployment 
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills   
  • Proficiency in English 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master / Agile Coach of which at least 2 years of coaching multiple teams and working with cross-functional teams. 
  • At least an advanced Scrum Master certificate like PSM2 (Scrum.org) or Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (ScrumAlliance.org). Proven experience with SAFe and/or LeSS will help us improve on Scaling Agile in our area. A SAFe and/or a LeSS certification is a nice one to have.
  • An open mindset and willingness to help out on topics at the general Area level too.
