We're looking for a Product Designer who goes beyond simply designing Products. We want someone who can deeply understand problems, make confident decisions when things are unclear, turn limited data into useful insights, recognize when a lightweight solution is enough for an MVP, and know when a product truly needs a serious redesign.
The work moves between different kinds of tasks: designing screens and flows, creating the illustrations used inside the product, benchmarking similar products, running quick research, redesigning the parts that need it, building the design system that keeps everything consistent, and handing all of it to engineering in a form they can build without guesswork.
We work at startup pace, and we work with AI. We're looking for someone with genuinely fast hands in Figma and a daily habit of using AI tools to explore more options, produce more, and document faster.
If you're in love creative and enjoy working closely with product and engineering teams, and this way of working sounds like yours, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points, even when the data is incomplete or unclear
Benchmark similar products and competitors, and turn what you learn into better, faster decisions and run usability testing
Design and redesign key parts of the product to improve usability, clarity, and performance
Deliver complete, developer-ready handoffs: every screen and every state — default, empty, loading, success, error, validation, and edge cases and add clear notes and annotations in Figma for behavior, interactions, and conditions
Stay close to the team during implementation: answer questions quickly, review what's built, and keep back-and-forth to a minimum
Create and maintain the illustrations used inside the product — empty states, onboarding, error and success states, and iconography
Build and extend the brand's visual language and characters, and keep them consistent across products
Use AI tools to move faster and to explore more options before committing to one
Contribute to building, evolving, and maintaining the design system
Deliver design work at the right quality and at the right time, aligned with product priorities
Requirements
At least 4 years of professional experience in Product Design / UX/UI (mid-senior to senior level)
Deep mastery of Figma — components, variants, auto layout, and a clean, well-organized file structure with genuinely fast hands
Daily, practical use of AI tools in your design work: ideation, variations, research, copy, and documentation. You know when AI output is good enough and when it needs to be redone by hand. For us this is a core requirement, not a bonus
Strong illustration skills — illustrations used inside a product, plus the ability to build a consistent visual language and characters for the brand
Experience with end-to-end design work, from discovery to final delivery: user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI
Proven experience with clean handoffs to engineering
Ability to build a clear understanding of the user and the problem even with limited data or unclear requirements, and to judge what level of design is enough at each stage (MVP thinking)
Ability to deliver at a good pace without dropping the quality of the core design decisions, and comfort with the startup rhythm
Experience independently and own your priorities in a remote team, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders
What Matters to Us
You can balance speed, quality, and product priorities
You can tell when to decide fast, when to go deeper, and when a redesign is really needed
You're comfortable with ambiguity and don't wait for all the data to be complete
You have a sense of ownership and see design as part of solving the product problem, not just delivering UI
You're skilled at illustration and care about the product's visual language
You see the handoff as part of the design — a design isn't finished until an engineer can build it without stopping to ask what happens next
You see AI as part of your skill set — a way to do more and better work, not something to avoid
Nice to Have
Experience with user behavior analytics tools such as Clarity
Familiarity with A/B testing
A good understanding of technical considerations
Experience with motion and micro-interactions
Work Model
Employment type: Full-time
Work model: Fully remote
Stable Internet
We're looking for someone who takes this on as their main job and is present during the team's working day.
