About the role:
Snapptrip is a subsidiaries of Snapp Group, the largest Internet services company in the Middle East. Snapptrip operates in the field of online travel services (hotel and ticket). The Senior Administrator provides key data recommendations and best practice solutions to all tech teams and he is responsible for all activities associated with the management and operation of database platforms: implementing data models and designs, creating database tables, indexes, and views to support new and existing applications, design and implementing transaction and full backup policies and procedures, monitoring database size and performance, tuning SQL queries, developing prototypes to demonstrate proposed functionality, produce support documentation, and provide production support.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience.
Strong and demonstrable experience as DBA in large-scale PostgreSQL environments
Documented hands-on expertise managing high-volume instances of PostgreSQL setups featuring high availability
Linux shell scripting and general linux system administration experience
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to get to the route of an issue quickly
Experience working on 24×7 environments oriented towards a zero downtime target.

Key Responsibilities:

Strong Experience in PostgreSQL database architecture, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/ SQL programming, catalog navigation, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, security, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc.
experienced in solving database incidents and recovery
Proactively monitor databases for errors and respond quickly and effectively to troubleshoot and resolve DB on-going issues on all CAI environments DEV/QA/PROD.
Coordinate and schedule DB downtimes to perform DB maintenance procedures. i.e. DB patching, upgrades, etc.
Analyze existing systems and make recommendations on which technology best suits the business requirement for high availability, disaster recovery or high performance.

Flexible Remote:
This means that for the majority of the time you can work from home if you want. We would expect you to come into the office one day a week to maintain team knowledge.

تا چند وقت پیش کسانی که به فکر سفر می‌افتادند، منبع جامع و کاملی از هتل‌ها در دسترس نداشتند تا بتوانند بسته به بودجه و سلیقه‌شان اقامتگاهی مناسب پیدا کنند. اسنپ تریپ 95 درصد از اقامتگاه‌های ایران را در سایت گردآوری کرده است تا مسافران هتل‌ها را مقایسه کنند و اقامتگاه مدنظرشان را با بهترین قیمت به‌صورت آنلاین رزرو کنند.
اما کار همین‌جا تمام نشد، تیم ما هر روز بزرگ‌تر می‌شد و هر روز رویا و هدف‌های جدیدی پیش رویمان قرار می‌گرفت که بزرگ‌ترینشان این بود که بتوانیم تمامی مراحل سفر را تحت‌پوشش قرار دهیم. خرید آنلاین بلیط هواپیما، قطار و اتوبوس را هم به خدماتمان اضافه کردیم و انقدر بزرگ شدیم که توانستیم از نام‌خانوادگی‌مان، اسنپ، استفاده کنیم و اسممان را از پین‌تاپین به اسنپ‌تریپ تغییر دهیم. خدمات ویژه‌ای را هم برای شرکت‌ها و سازمان‌ها فراهم کردیم و در سایتمان بخشی را به سفرهای کاری اختصاص دادیم.
حالا اسنپ‌تریپ از آن گروه کوچک چندنفره به گروهی 220 نفره تبدیل شده و یکی از بزرگ‌ترین سامانه‌‌های آنلاین خدمات سفر (بلیط، هتل و ...) است.
اما هدف‌های ما برای ارائه خدمات بهتر و بزرگ‌ترشدن هنوز ادامه دارد. قدم بعدی‌مان این است که به‌روزترین مرجع‌ گردشگری ایران باشیم و کیفیت خدمات آنلاینمان آن‌قدر بالا باشد که تمامی گردشگران خدمات آنلاین را به خدمات آفلاین ترجیح بدهند. ما منتظر روزی هستیم که اسنپ‌تریپ برای گردشگران یادآور تجربه خوش سفر باشد.
