About the role

We are looking for a dedicated software automation engineer to join our growing team and ensure the quality of our software products and services. Candidates for this position must possess an inherent curiosity, critical thinking skills, and must genuinely enjoy ‘breaking things’. This QA/QC position will focus primarily on developing and executing automated test cases for our web & mobile and api services. The execution of these tests require writing and/or running scripts to simulate real-world scenarios.

We are looking for a software automation tester to assess software quality through automated & manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Responsible for creation, maintenance, and validation of test cases & scripts
Estimate,prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Designing test cases to ensure that new features work properly with other existing features
Prioritize test cases and define bug severity
Performing manual testing of applications to identify bugs or errors in functionality
Acceptance/API testing of Pindo’s mobile and web,find their potential bugs and properly report them
Developing automated testing scripts
Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing as appropriate
Understand product requirements and real-world use cases to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases and analyze results
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Conduct pre-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Reviewing applications for potential defects or flaws in design or functionality before they are released to the public
Participating in meetings with other members of the development team to discuss testing strategies and issues that have arisen during testing
Analyzing data from previous tests to identify common issues or problems that should be addressed during new tests
Reporting bugs and test results to cross-functional teams for further investigation
Creating documentation about test results and procedures for future reference
Learn and share knowledge with other team members

Skills Required

Knowledge of software QA/QC methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Developing automated testing scripts using Python and Robot Framework
Good experiences in API & web & mobile Testing
Used Selenium / Playwright Automation tool
Used Appium automation framework
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
Perform repeatable testing process and procedures
Create and Maintain all test scripts, test cases, use cases and test plans necessary to execute full life cycle testing of business requirements
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
