Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Lead Designer to take charge of the design vision for our digital products. As a Lead Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the overall design direction, ensuring that user experiences are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with business objectives. You will lead a talented design team, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Lead and define the overall design strategy, ensuring a cohesive vision across all products.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering creativity and professional growth while ensuring high standards of design excellence.
  • Business & Design Alignment: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into exceptional design solutions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to execute designs and ensure seamless integration of design and development processes.
  • Design Systems: Oversee the development and implementation of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
  • UI/UX Design: Lead the design of intuitive user interfaces and compelling user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Guide the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Conduct user testing to validate design concepts and iteratively improve them.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate new ideas into the design process.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present and defend design ideas to key stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions and how they support business objectives.
Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience: 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in creating impactful digital products.
  • Design Tools Expertise: Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience leading design teams, guiding junior designers, and fostering a collaborative design culture.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, balancing business goals with user needs to create effective design solutions.
  • Creative & Analytical: Strong creative vision combined with a data-driven, problem-solving approach to design.
  • Collaboration Skills: Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas and rationale to various stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in both design aesthetics and user experience.
