شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Description:


We are looking for a data scientist that will help us design problem specific solutions, develop machine learning pipelines, evaluate algorithms and deliver data driven products. Your primary focus will be in problem solving using mathematical and statistical modeling techniques, building error-prone prediction systems integrated with our products and designing evaluation metrics and frameworks in an ever changing environment. You will be part of a high profile team dedicated to research and provide practical data driven solutions mainly focused on fintech and automated trading platforms. 



Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate and coordinate with product owners to extract problem specifications.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to design robust predictive models.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Qualifications:


  • Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Deep Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.).
  • Deep Knowledge and understanding of a variety of machine learning concepts and techniques (feature space, evaluation, generalization, classification, clustering, loss functions, gradient descent, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) for coordinating across teams, research and reporting.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • We’re looking for someone with 2 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models who is familiar with the following software/tools:
    • Coding knowledge and experience with Python (pandas, tensorflow or pytorch)
    • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
    • Working knowledge on using version control softwares (git) and docker containers.

These skills are not required but indicate a strong plus:


  • Familiar with trading concepts, portfolio evaluation metrics and technical indicators.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning algorithms: Q-Learning, Actor-Critic, reward functions.
  • Familiar with hyper-parameter optimization techniques.
  • Familiar with time-series concepts, features and prediction models.
