Product Manager is tasked with overseeing the development and enhancement of a company’s online store. This role requires a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape, including market trends, consumer behavior, and technology innovations. A successful candidate should have experience in product strategy, user experience design, analytics, and marketing. Above all, an Ecommerce Product Manager should possess a passion for delivering outstanding digital experiences that drive business growth.
responsibilities
- Develop and implement an ecommerce product strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences, as well as industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing maintenance of ecommerce products.
- Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and resource availability.
- Monitor and analyze ecommerce product performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, and use this data to make informed decisions about product strategy and development.
- Stay up-to-date on ecommerce industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and use this knowledge to inform product strategy and development.
- Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers and partners.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure that customer inquiries and issues related to ecommerce products are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- 3 years of ecommerce product management experience
- Demonstrated experience driving revenue growth
- Expertise in data analysis and interpretation
- Proven ability to develop and execute product roadmap
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization
- Deep understanding of customer behavior and needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
