Own and scale our organic growth across Europe

We are a fast-growing European eCommerce brand in the premium workspace category, selling height-adjustable desks and office accessories through our Shopify store across multiple European markets.

We are looking for an experienced SEO Lead who can take ownership of our organic growth strategy and execute it hands-on. This role combines technical SEO, content strategy, multilingual SEO, AI-assisted localisation, backlink acquisition, and performance analysis.

What You'll Do

SEO Strategy & Execution

Own and execute the SEO roadmap across multiple European markets
Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities
Improve rankings, organic traffic, and revenue through data-driven SEO initiatives
Monitor performance and prioritize actions based on results

Technical SEO

Manage Shopify SEO best practices
Improve crawlability, indexation, internal linking, and site structure
Optimize Core Web Vitals, schema markup, canonicals, and technical health
Resolve duplicate content and Shopify-specific SEO challenges

Content & Multilingual SEO

Plan and manage the SEO content calendar
Create and review content briefs and SEO content
Research local search behavior and keyword opportunities by market
Use AI-assisted workflows to translate and localize content for different European countries
Ensure localized content feels natural, relevant, and SEO-friendly

Authority Building & Outreach

Develop backlink acquisition and digital PR initiatives
Identify publishers, creators, communities, and partnership opportunities
Build relationships that strengthen brand authority and organic visibility

AI Search Visibility

Improve visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI-driven discovery platforms
Use structured content, entity optimization, and brand authority signals to increase discoverability

What We're Looking For

Required

3+ years of eCommerce SEO experience with proven results
Strong Shopify SEO expertise
Experience with technical SEO, content SEO, and link building
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to independently plan and execute SEO initiatives
Experience using AI tools for research, content support, localisation, and workflow optimization
Strong analytical skills with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or Semrush
Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities independently

Nice to Have

Shopify Markets experience
International and multilingual SEO experience
Experience with hreflang and multi-country SEO strategies
Knowledge of AI search optimization and GEO visibility
German or other European language skills
Experience in eCommerce, workspace, furniture, ergonomics, or premium consumer products
