Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive NOC Engineer to join our team and provide support during the night shift. As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring our services using Grafana and investigating logs in the Kibana dashboard. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of our network and infrastructure, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of our network and infrastructure, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Monitor network services and infrastructure using Grafana, Kibana, and other monitoring tools.
Detect and troubleshoot network and system issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
Analyze logs and alerts in the Kibana dashboard to identify potential issues or anomalies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain accurate incident records and perform detailed incident analysis to identify trends and patterns.
Participate in regular shift handovers, providing detailed updates on ongoing issues and ongoing investigations.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to perform routine tasks, ensuring adherence to established processes and protocols.
Perform periodic system checks and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.
Maintain and update documentation related to network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and incident resolution.
Continuously stay updated with the latest network technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be a plus.
Proven experience working as a NOC Engineer or in a similar network operations role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.
Experience with log management and analysis using tools such as ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
Ability to analyze complex network and system issues and provide effective solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
