شرح موقعیت شغلی

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our organization's cybersecurity team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions to protect our organization's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective security strategies and incident response plans.

Responsibilities:

Network Security Architecture: Design and develop comprehensive network security architectures, strategies, and roadmaps that align with business objectives. Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the organization's security posture.
Network Threat Assessment and Management: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and security risks within the network infrastructure. Implement effective security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web application firewalls (WAF), VPNs, and other security technologies to mitigate risks and prevent unauthorized access.
Incident Response and Forensics: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. Lead and coordinate incident response activities to identify, contain, mitigate, and recover from security incidents. Perform post-incident analysis and forensics to identify the root cause and recommend remediation measures.
Security Monitoring and Compliance: Deploy and manage security monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security events and threats in real time. Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security events to identify and investigate suspicious activities. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct internal and external security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement. Develop remediation plans and work closely with stakeholders to address identified vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Security Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver security awareness programs and training sessions to educate employees on security best practices, policies, and procedures. Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance throughout the organization.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate security solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services. Manage relationships with security product vendors and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP or CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.

Hard Skills:

Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and industry best practices.
Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, DDOS, web filtering, and endpoint security.
Have a good knowledge of encryption and tunneling protocols (PKI, IPsec, SSL VPN, TLS, IKE, IKEv2, etc.)
In-depth understanding of network infrastructure, TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and penetration testing methodologies.
Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and their practical implementation.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and threats.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
