Summary:
We're seeking an accomplished Senior React Developer with cloud industry experience to help with the exciting public cloud project. The successful candidate will be working to the highest professional standards to ensure that our product continues to engage customers and promote the continued success of the company.
The role is an integral part of the cross-discipline web team and will work closely with the current agile team and with non-technical staff to ensure the functionality and performance of our web applications meet the technical and commercial requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the front-end using the Figma UI and translated business requirements as user stories.
  • Design scalable and extensible cloud-native web applications which are easy to test, debug and maintain.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests.
  • Work closely with the agile team members responsible for testing to guarantee suitable test coverage and identify defects, performance bottlenecks, or technical debt.
  • Maintain the performance, accessibility, security, and responsiveness of web apps and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives, striving to continuously improve the team's velocity, processes, and engineering practices.
Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in developing secure, scalable applications in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Expert in React.js
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in coding responsive web apps for a range of devices and browsers.
  • Strong knowledge of service-based enterprise architecture design, best practices, and a full understanding of RESTful principles.
  • Ability to translate stories and UI as web application features.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to be clear, concise, accurate, and punctual.
  • Strong academic background in computer science
  • Continuous integration, automated testing, code quality check, and release management using GitLab.
