About the role


We build AI products that people ship real work on - which means the systems underneath have to be fast, resilient, and actually intelligent. We're looking for a senior engineer to own architecture end to end: designing agentic systems, building the microservices around them, and keeping the whole thing stable on Kubernetes.

You'd be one of a handful of senior people making the calls. No ticket queue - you'll help decide what gets built and how.

What you'll do


  • Design and build agentic AI systems - orchestration, tool use, evaluation, and the infrastructure that keeps them from falling over in production
  • Architect scalable microservices in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript (Deno, Next.js)
  • Own the design decisions: data models, service boundaries, failure modes, cost and latency trade-offs
  • Deploy and run services on Kubernetes, and keep CI/CD fast and boring
  • Work AI-first - use AI tooling aggressively in your own workflow and pull the rest of the team along
  • Review code, mentor engineers, raise the bar
What we're looking for


  • 5+ years building production software in Python, Go, or TypeScript
  • A track record of designing scalable microservices, and the ability to defend the trade-offs you made
  • Hands-on Kubernetes in production - not just a homelab cluster
  • Working knowledge of FastAPI, and of Deno or Next.js
  • Comfort across relational and in-memory stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalents)
  • Solid Git and CI/CD habits
  • Genuine interest in agentic systems and in working alongside AI tools daily
  • CS degree or equivalent experience
