شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Description: As an Accountant focusing on the maritime and shipping industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations and compliance with applicable Laws and regulations. You will manage the financial aspects of our maritime and shipping activities, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate financial records and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
●     Maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals in compliance with maritime industry standards, accounting principles, and applicable laws and regulations.
●     Prepare financial statements, reports, and budget forecasts.
●     Perform cost analysis and financial modeling to optimize operational expenses.
●     Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, procurement, and logistics, to track and report on financial performance.
●     Monitor and control financial transactions related to vessel operations, port charges, and ship management.
●     Ensure compliance with national and international accounting standards and industry regulations.
●     Review and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
●     Assist in the preparation and review of financial audits.
●     Provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
●     Stay updated on industry-specific accounting regulations and trends.


Requirements:


  1. Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field of knowledge.
  2. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Maritime/shipping industry.
  3. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  4. Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
  5. Strong proficiency in Excel.
  6. knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
