Description:

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at Filmnet, you will play an important role in building and improving the web experience of one of Iran’s leading streaming and entertainment platforms.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA Engineers to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components and frontend architecture.
Integrate and work with RESTful APIs and handle application data efficiently.
Develop and improve video player and streaming experiences**, ensuring a smooth playback experience for users.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and overall user experience.
Participate in code reviews, testing.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
Help improve frontend development standards and mentor other engineers when needed.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in Front-End Development.
Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
Experience building and maintaining production-scale web applications.
Experience with state management solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous data handling, and frontend architecture.
Experience working with video players and video streaming technologies including player integration, playback controls, subtitles, quality selection, and related user experiences.
Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with VOD, streaming, or media platforms
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and Web Vitals
Experience working with **video streaming protocols such as HLS
