We are looking for an experienced Associate Product Manager to participate in the creation of new products and features, from the idea stage to launch.As Associate, Product Manager (APM), you will be supporting the Product Strategy team whose primary goal is to deliver high quality products and services to our clients. This is a cross-functional role that will interface with all aspects of our organization from sales to client success, operations, engineering and our support team.
Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations, improving overall user experience, evaluating consumer feedback on our products, and finding solutions for product defects.
Ultimately, you’ll work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the ability to contribute appropriate product-related insights and strategies. First-class Associate Product Managers are industry experts who identify new product features that provide businesses with a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Product Manager and collaborating with the product development team.
Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience
Participate in defining business conditions, testing support and system configuration, training documentation, and administrative tools, as well as written procedures
Perform quality assurance controls on products
Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps
Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines
Deliver functional solutions by collaborating with engineering department
Help in the development of timelines, project plans and status reports to monitor projects
Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching
Gathering product data, including web analytics, statistics, and consumer trends.
Create support and training documents for internal and external users
Participate in system configuration
Competitive and market research.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback
Self-motivated and organized –Clients will need timely response through email or telephone on a daily basis.
Experience in managing the life cycle of a product from end to end
Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor behavior
Ability to report to the Product Manager and collaborate with the product development team.
Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Trello
Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
Hands-on experience with web technologies
