QA Quality Assurance - Remote Position

Our financial firm is focusing on refining and optimizing our in-house accounting, reporting, and client web systems. As we transition towards integrating comprehensive testing processes, there's an urgent need for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer. This role is crucial for implementing testing strategies to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Perform API, Performance, and End-to-End Testing to identify software bugs
Utilize tools such as Cypress.io, Jest (or similar), and Postman for testing purposes. Knowledge of test documentation tools like Qase.io, or a similar tool
Involvement in performance testing using tools like Apache JMeter, K6, or equivalent is advantageous
Collaborate with the development team to enhance the quality and efficiency of software development

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of QA experience with a solid grasp of testing methodologies
Proficiency in automation and API testing tools mentioned above
Analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach
Previous experience with financial systems is preferred but not mandatory

Offer:

Full-time remote position, based on UK working hours (9-5 UK time, Monday to Friday)
