As Senior Business Development Executive at EMZANO, you will be responsible for identifying novel opportunities, developing growth strategies, and optimizing the performance of both sides of our platform. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing business functions, enhancing the user experience, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that the company scales efficiently and effectively. Your insights will guide decisions that influence both supply and demand aspects of our marketplace, supporting the growth and sustainability of the business.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Data-Driven Business Strategy: • Gather, analyze, and interpret platform data to identify growth opportunities on both the demand and supply sides of the business. • Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to optimize business processes, enhance marketplace liquidity, and drive overall growth. 2. Market Insights & Competitive Strategy: • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities for differentiation, and emerging market demands. • Define and implement strategies that position the platform to capture market share, increase customer acquisition, and foster customer retention. 3. Relationship & Partnership Development: • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key industry players to expand the platform’s reach. • Foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment on business objectives and to unlock new business avenues. 4. Operational Excellence & Process Optimization: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize platform operations, from user acquisition to engagement and retention. • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall marketplace health. 5. Performance Tracking & Reporting: • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly. • Communicate performance insights to leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business goals and strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Education: • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications, such as Business Strategy or Data Science, are advantageous.

Experience: • At least five years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or data analysis is necessary. Experience in a digital platform, e-commerce, or SaaS environment is preferred. Prior experience with two-sided platforms and a deep understanding of the dynamics between supply and demand are highly valued.

Technical Skills: • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including SQL, Excel, and Google Analytics, is essential. Experience with statistical analysis and designing business tests to inform decision-making is also required.

Soft Skills: • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities are necessary. The ability to effectively communicate complex data and strategies to non-technical stakeholders is crucial. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills are also required. Self-motivation and a passion for driving growth and enhancing business processes are essential.
