Position Overview:
The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for developing and enhancing our e-commerce platform's frontend components using ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that deliver an unparalleled shopping experience to our customers. Your expertise in ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, and familiarity with Tailwindcss and "browser-based debugging and performance testing software" will be essential in implementing cutting-edge frontend solutions and ensuring the scalability and performance of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our e-commerce platform's frontend components using ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript.
  •  Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design mockups into fully functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot frontend issues, and implement solutions to improve overall application performance.
  • Familiarity with Tailwindcss to efficiently style and design UI components.
  • Utilize "browser-based debugging and performance testing software" to analyze and optimize application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and proactively apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the frontend development team.
  •  Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure the seamless flow of data between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Champion and advocate for the implementation of accessibility standards to ensure our platform is inclusive and accessible to all users. 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong focus on ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript development.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex UI components and interactions.
  • Proficient in TypeScript and its best practices for building scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Familiarity with Tailwindcss for efficient and modular styling of UI components.
  • Familiarity with "browser-based debugging and performance testing software" to analyze and optimize application performance.
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git, and code collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with build and package management tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or yarn.
  • Experience with server-side rendering and optimizing frontend applications for SEO will be a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce or online retail platforms.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme for frontend testing.
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with WebSocket and GraphQL for real-time data communication and API interactions.
  • Previous experience with other modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks is a plus.
