شرح موقعیت شغلی

Job Description

 

As a Data Developer specializing in Python at our game studio, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Your expertise in Python programming and data manipulation will contribute to the seamless flow of data, enabling insightful analysis and data-driven decision-making across the studio. You will work closely with our developers and game designers to build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and reporting solutions.

 

 

Responsibilities

●      Collaborate with game developers, designers, data analysts, BI team, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide data-driven solutions that enhance gameplay, player experience, and game monetization.

●      Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Python to ensure the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into our data warehouse or data lake.

●      Develop reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and visualize data.

●      Design stable, reliable and effective databases

●      Design and optimize database schemas and data models to support analytical queries and data mining activities.

●      Leverage Python libraries and frameworks for data manipulation, transformation, and statistical analysis to empower the analytical capabilities of the team.

●      Troubleshoot database performance issues, optimize queries, and improve overall system efficiency.

●      Contribute to the evaluation and integration of new tools, technologies, and platforms that enhance our data processing and analytics capabilities.

 

Qualifications

●      Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL, as well as familiarity with NoSQL databases.

●      Experience working with RDBMS specially PostgreSQL.

●      Proficiency in ETL processes and data integration techniques.

●      Proven experience in data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data warehousing, preferably using Python as the primary programming language.

●      Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, with knowledge of relevant libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and others.

●      Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data-related challenges.

●      Familiarity with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

●      Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices in software development.

●      Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

●      Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with developers and game designers.

●      Proven ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

 

Nice-to-Haves

●      Knowledge of game analytics tools, such as Game Analytics or similar platforms, and A/B testing to optimize user engagement and retention.

●      Familiar with analytics and interactive visualization applications (Grafana, Metabase)

●      Familiar with programming languages like Java, etc.

●      Familiarity with statistical concepts.

●      Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.

●      Familiarity with OKR (Objectives and Key Results) methodology and experience in aligning game development goals with organizational goals using OKRs.
