Opportunity
Kara is seeking an experienced Executive Manager with a proven track record of leading a high-performing team, exceptional communication skills and outstanding business acumen. The role is key to the sustainability and operational success of the business and will report to the CEO.
Key areas of focus
- Effectively implementing the business strategy and ensuring sound governance.
- Leading, mentoring, developing and motivating the dedicated employees
- Driving operational efficiency and excellence and ensuring financial sustainability
- Maintaining and enhancing productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and delivering on business growth opportunities
The role
The Executive Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all Employment and Training-related programs managed by Kara, with a continual focus on growth, innovation and best practice. The portfolio offers effective, efficient and sustainable service delivery. It delivers maximum impact to our clients who are residents in offices and coworking spaces.
The role requires:
- Establishing and maintaining solid relationships with clients, funders and employers to develop beneficial outcomes for the organization.
- Ensuring exceptional quality and high performance are maintained and that Kara continues to be seen as an in the Azadi Innovation Factory startup ecosystem.
- Taking ownership of the execution of business planning activities and implementation of new business initiatives.
About you
This position will suit an appropriately qualified and highly accomplished executive with a successful leadership record in a similar business, ideally within the startup industry. In addition, understanding the financial literature of the business will be a distinct advantage. The higher-level skills sought are innovative thinking, diplomacy, credibility, authenticity, proactivity, vision, strong influencing and advocacy capabilities, commercial and political acumen, and genuine leadership qualities.
