Tech Lead (long version)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tech Lead to join our innovative team. As a Technical Team Lead you will play a critical role in driving the technical direction of our projects, mentoring the development team, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering, to shape the future of our products and ensure they meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

- Make high-level design decisions and enforce coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with architects and other tech leads to ensure cohesive technology architecture across the organization.

- Project Management:

- Drive project planning and execution, ensuring that development milestones are met.

- Coordinate with product managers to align technical work with business goals.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure the timely delivery of features and bug fixes with a focus on quality and performance.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

- Lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback and promoting best practices within the team.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Encourage innovation within the team, fostering a culture of experimentation and learning.

Technical Strategy:

- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and vision of our company.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks that can enhance our products and development processes.

- Ensure scalability, security, and performance in all software solutions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java, Python, JavaScript).

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Proven track record of leading complex software projects from concept to delivery

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Passion for technology and a desire to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the domain relevant to B2B SaaS applications.

- Extensive experience with Laravel PHP and modern backend frameworks.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
