Job Description

Backend Game Developer (.NET)
We are looking for a Backend Game Developer to help build, improve, and maintain the server-side systems behind our online mobile games. This role will focus on game backend services, chat systems, real-time communication, and scalable infrastructure for turn-based and online multiplayer gameplay.
You will work closely with Unity developers, DevOps engineers, and other backend developers to deliver reliable, high-performance services used by thousands of players.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services for online mobile games
Build and support game meta systems such as player progression, rewards, economy, inventory, events, and live operations
Design and implement chat system backend features, including real-time messaging and client-server communication
Manage real-time and near-real-time communication using WebSockets and related networking technologies
Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and NATS to build reliable and high-performance systems
Design scalable, event-driven, and fault-tolerant backend services
Integrate backend services with Unity clients and internal tools
Collaborate with DevOps engineers on deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes environments
Debug, optimize, and improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability
Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews

Required Skills

Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
Experience developing backend services for online applications, games, or real-time systems
Good understanding of WebSockets and client-server communication
Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
Experience with message brokers or event streaming systems such as RabbitMQ or NATS
Solid understanding of networking concepts, backend performance optimization, and scalable system design
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Kubernetes or container-based deployment environments
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reliable backend code

Nice to Have

Experience working on online mobile games
Experience integrating backend services with Unity clients
Knowledge of turn-based multiplayer game systems
Understanding of chat systems, presence, messaging, and real-time user communication
Experience with distributed systems, clustering, and stateful services
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and production monitoring tools
Experience with live operations, player data, economy systems, or game event systems
