We are seeking a junior data analyst to join our team and help us make smarter decisions through data.
What You'll Do
- Write and optimize SQL queries to pull data from various databases
- Assist in ETL processes and maintain data warehouses.
- Design, build, maintain and present dashboards and reports
- Work closely with business and product teams to define and track KPIs
- Assist in extracting, cleaning and preparing datasets for analysis or machine learning operations
- Handle ad-hoc data requests and deep dives
- Identify trends or anomalies and deliver helpful insights
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of SQL and Relational Database Systems; PostgreSQL specifically
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets
- Familiarity with business intelligence and KPIs
- Basic familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, curiosity and a knack for asking the right questions
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a data-driven environment
- Degree (or experience) in a relevant field
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with A/B testing, cohort analysis, or funnel metrics
- Understanding of basic statistics and hypothesis testing
