The Senior Software Engineer (Backend) will work on designing, building, testing, and maintaining software solutions using modern technologies to enable & empower our business teams to achieve high growth targets.

The Platform

Develop features and improvements to our platform, working with the Software Development Team in an agile, organized, and well-documented manner.
Actively keep an eye on developing a scalable architecture.
Contribute in Testing, Quality Assurance, and Code-Review sessions, to provide guidance and mentorship to the rest of the Software Development Team, and ensure the quality of the changes committed to the codebase in terms, performance, and security.
Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to analyze product requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and guarantee top-notch quality and speed of delivery in an agile iterative environment.

Business Empowerment & Business Intelligence

Empower other Divisions by offering them technical support to automate and optimize repetitive/error-prone business processes. And develop internal software tools and services to aid achieving aggressive growth targets.
Enable all Divisions to make smart, educated and scientific decisions by providing building needed reports and data analyses on our data analyses platform in a layman-friendly manner.
Participate in non-tech-related discussions to offer the insightful engineer/tech perspective.

Research & Development

Help maintain the usage of a sustainable and efficient stack of technologies, to stay on top of tech trends and breakthroughs and aid in research processes to choose the best possible solution for a problem by researching, and evaluating technologies/solutions to provide actionable advice and suggestions in a proactive manner.

Must Have:

Proficiency in developing back-end API in Go (Golang)
4+ years of experience as a Backend/Full-stack Developer
Advanced Database skills (SQL/NoSQL)
Experience working on a large scale Web Application/System (Message Queues, Event Streaming, Scheduling, Caching)
Experience working in Linux software development environment
Professional proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
Passion for learning new languages/technologies/concepts.

Nice to have:

Front-end experience with React/Vue/..similar framework.
CI/CD, Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes
GraphQL
Elasticsearch / Redisearch
Cloud / DevOps experience
