Position Overview:
As a WordPress Developer at GeeksHub, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress websites. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing websites that drive our e-commerce business. Your expertise in WordPress, along with your understanding of e-commerce, will be crucial in delivering a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and plugins.
- Implement custom themes and templates to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate designs and requirements into functional websites.
- Ensure website security and perform regular updates to keep our sites secure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with e-commerce models.
- Experience with website analytics and A/B testing.
