Back-end Node.js Developer

We are looking for an experienced developer who is proficient with both vanilla JavaScript and Node.js frameworks such as Express and knows how to utilize non-relational databases such as MongoDB.

You must build a RESTful API based on the proposed plan and ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, best practice design, and quality products are important.

What we will build together

Currently, we’re working on a new software for one of the mobile telecommunication companies in Iran which is still in its early stages. You will be joining its small team (5 members) and help build and maintain various parts of the product.

Responsibilities

RESTful API based on the proposed plan using Node.js and Express.
Translating designs plan into high-quality code

Qualifications

Essentials:

Experience advanced JavaScript development
Experience in Node.js
Experience in Node.js frameworks i.e., Express
Experience in the design and implementation of RESTful API service
Experience in non-relational databases, i.e., MongoDB
Experience in JWT Auth
Able to write well-designed, testable, efficient codes
Familiarity with Git

Nice to have:

Familiarity with code testing
Familiarity with docker and dockerize deployment
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment
Familiarity with Linux
Familiarity with Nginx
Familiarity with Back-end security issues
Familiar with Scrum

Personal:

High power of research and development and problem-solving
Interested in learning new content and technologies
Passion and curiosity to create and build new things
Independent, self-motivated
Ability to work as a team

Additional Remarks:

We are a semi-remote team so we do invite individuals to work with us from anywhere on the globe. Nevertheless, we prefer to have a time overlap of 4-5 hours working together.
