Responsibilities

Work with software engineers to define requirements and standards
Act as a systems and services owner (CI/CD, Stage, Deploy, Operate, Support, Monitor, Troubleshoot, Maintain, Automate, Document, etc.)
Take responsibility for the quality, reliability, and availability of systems and services
Research, test, and implement new technologies to support the application architecture

Qualifications

Essentials:

Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience in scripting with Bash
Experience in the Docker containers
Experience working with reverse proxies, preferably traefik
Experience in Nginx web server Solution
Experience in Minio Object Storage Solution
Expertise with Key-Value and NoSQL solutions such as Redis, MongoDB
Knowledge of best practices in an always-up, always-available service
Good Knowledge of Git
Familiarity in CI / CD and Gitlab CI processes

Nice to have:

Familiarity with the topics of network security, software security, and monitoring
Knowledge of at least one programming language (Node.js, Go)
Familiar with Monitoring and Alerting methods and tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Familiarity in one of the Configuration Management tools such as Ansible

Personal:

High power of research and development and problem solving
Interested in learning new content and technologies
Passion and curiosity to create and build new things
Independent, self-motivated
Ability to work as a team

Additional Remarks:

We are a semi-remote team so we do invite individuals to work with us from anywhere on the globe. Nevertheless, we prefer to have a time overlap of 4-5 hours working together.

What we will build together

Currently, we’re working on new software for one of the mobile telecommunication companies in Iran which are in the first stages. You will be joining its small team (10 members) and helping build and maintain various parts of the product.
